Lieutenant Governor Fred Sterling and Vernon Cure its banker are charged with conspiracy and operating a confidence game involving $2,000,000. Trial date set for January 9.
Two people die and five are wounded in Lisbon as bombs explode during transfer to a building used by the Lisbon Confederation of Labor. A number of arrests follow the blast.
Arcadia Florida December 29 Lieutenants Samuel H Davis and William Sinclair were killed and their bodies burned when a military plane crashed into the station at Carlstrom Field.
