Copenhagen dispatch reports former Kaiser attempted suicide amid mental despair. he wounded a retinue member who stopped him. Amsterdam dispatch notes he has been interviewing German law experts about his position and may publish an autobiography and history of his reign as part of a defense.
Washington report states a Fifth Liberty loan will be launched next spring possibly tied to the Victory issue. The notice carries an early date of December 10 from the associated press.
