Center Street Church of God Celebrates Golden Anniversary
Center Street Church of God marks its 50th year since formation on June 4 1919 after a tent revival led by Rev W S Gentry and evangelistic party. The church began on Hast Center Street near the Employment Office with thirteen charter members and later moved to Beatty Ave before settling at Center and Christian streets.
