Four Injured In One Car Crash At City Junction

Four people suffered minor injuries when a car ran off the road at the junction of High Top and Black Diamond roads. Passengers include Danny Eldridge 23 Peggy Dadovich 14 and Dardra Liversedge 17 all from Flint Michigan. The driver lost control and hit an embankment. State Trooper James Powell investigated.

Dr Blaiberg Shows Some Improvement

CAPE TOWN South Africa AP Philip Blaiberg the worlds longest surviving heart transplant patient maintained a slight improvement in his condition today He was readmitted to Groote Schuur Hospital in serious condition Thursday after a relapse Blaiberg 60 slept better during the night and was more comfortable an official hospital bulletin said He was showing some interest in food The heart implanted by Dr Christiaan Barnard Jan 2 1968 pumped at a third of normal pressure and kidneys were not functioning properly Doctors cited congested blood vessels to the heart from rejection requiring continued immunosuppressant injections.
