A reporter toured the 8 B Adams poultry location on Tenth Street visiting dressed turkeys and booths where various workers prepared fowls for Thanksgiving. Owner Mr Adams from Dunrieth Indiana has run the city’s poultry business for two and a half years with manager Jesse Williamson noting 18000 pounds of dressed turkeys shipped weekly to Eastern markets. Adams plans to expand to become a leading poultry center supplying the American Thanksgiving feast.
William Cochran, a well known Orange township resident and old army veteran, was badly hurt when his two horses bolted a wagon load of turkeys near Alpine as a southbound Big Four train passed. He was thrown, bruised, and later treated at E I Chances store before being returned home.
An 18 year old, Will McCormick, was fatally wounded in a hunting accident near Elmer Dehaven east of Harrisburg when his companion Harry Watts struck a caps hammer. McCormick died from a thigh wound that traveled to the abdomen despite medical aid.
Misa Bessie Belle Thomas granddaughter of John Wood wed Joseph R. Pippin at the Wood residence in East Connersville. Rev D T Hedger officiated as the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony. The bride wore brown cloth with white and blue trimmings and carried white rose bouquet. A collation followed and guests offered best wishes for the couple’s life at Fountain Street home.
Catherine Josephine Witz and Charles Gartlein wed quietly at 7:30 p.m. at Mrs. Barbara Witz home in Maplewood due to recent parental bereavement. Rev Joline F Schwarz officiated. Guests praised the bride, a city high school alumna and former Phil Joseph’s employee, and the groom, a Turkenkoph Cigar Factory worker. They reside at the Gartlein homestead on Fountain street in East Connersville.
William McCormick, about twenty, died after an accidental discharge by Harry Watts while boating Thursday. McCormick, son of Charles, resided on North Grand Avenue and worked at Wheel Works. He absolved Watts before death, expressing the act was purely accidental and asking no blame.

The proposed steel bridge over the East Fork of the White Water will span about 360 feet, located two miles south of Browna ville. Construction starts at once and aims for the earliest completion, addressing a long needed improvement at the site.
