The Big Four station area will gain a cement pavement extension to Fourth Street. The passenger station will be repainted and improved while the freight station follows. Thursday afternoon C A Leming fell eighteen feet from a ladder while fixing a crane at P H F M Rootes Foundry. Henry Schrader, standing on a lathe, was knocked off as the ladder tilting caused all three men to crash to the ground. Leming suffered back sprain and leg bruises.
