Aline Clements Killed by Auto in Indianapolis
Nine year old Aline Clements, daughter of O R Clements, formerly of Connersville, died after a car driven by Dr A H Miller struck her and a companion on Central avenue near Sixteenth Street. Helen Cross was injured. Miller faced manslaughter charges. The incident drew condolence for the Clements family, who had moved to Indianapolis eleven years ago.

Friends learn of the death of Mrs. Milton Smiley of Rush county following a several weeks illness. Maiden name Margaret Hinchman she was about fifty four and survived by husband and three children. Funeral service will be held tomorrow at noon from the house with interment likely in Rushville.

Despondent colored woman dies after ingesting carbolic acid
