Greensburg man Charles R Porter dies by suicide in home
Charles R Porter aged 48 committed suicide in his Greensburg Indiana home, shooting himself in the bathroom after a winter of poor health and despondency. He was secretary treasurer of Greensburg Gas, Oil and Water Co and senior member of Porter and Porter grocers. His widow is the daughter of Charles Zoller, president of the Third National Bank, with ties to local business circles.

He was about forty, born in Ohio, married to Miss Wolf sixteen years ago, with four children and a widow surviving. The funeral is set for Sunday at 10 AM at Lick Creek church with burial in Lick Creek cemetery.
