In St Petersburg on February 15 authorities plan to exile numerous ringleaders to Siberia to intimidate protesting students. Rome February 15 The pope is ill with influenza and remained in his bed today as his physician advised. Audiences were suspended and the pope stayed in his chamber with a slight temperature as a precaution.
The Maplewood School room 2 attendance dropped after the sick student, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Snyder, contracted measles. Of thirty-one pupils, twenty-six have fallen ill in a mild outbreak, severely disrupting class work but no severe illnesses reported.

Julius Rosendale a 76 year old Philadelphia translator is reported to have died and left a will directing his brain and stomach be turned over to the University of Pennsylvania for study to discover his immunity to alcohol. Physicians call his case marvelous and he is noted as the father of actress Margaret Dale. He requested cremation after organ removal for testing.
