Mrs Louisa Crawford, a longtime Elssere Indiana resident born April 1 1830 in York PA and widow of Walter Crawford, died Thursday at about 10 o clock. Survived by her daughter Miss Jennie and many friends she had worked in the millinery trade after her husband’s death and supported the family despite lingering illness. Connersville Telephone Company will start within days an independent line in Jennings township with a switchboard at Alquina. The system will connect local subscribers to the Connersville network, starting with about forty customers and likely expanding. Build cost is about 24000, with plans to extend across the county and more independent plants soon. A good portion of the county is already served by Sit ege.
