Frightful Accident Crashes Through Williams Creek Bridge
Yesterday afternoon about three o clock Charles Martins four horse team plunged through the Williams Creek Bridge on Rushville roads near Widow Wetherald farm two miles west of town. The old bridge could not bear the wagon loaded with stone and was wrecked along with the wagon. The driver escaped serious injury and the horses, though dragged ten to twelve feet, were not killed outright. Spectators described the scene as frightful.
