A Friday gathering at the Orton Club will ratify nominations from the Minneapolis convention. A parade, speeches at Roota Hall, music by the Orton Glee Club, and a grand meeting are planned with details to be published tomorrow.

James Hash of Richland township Owen county unearthed a wooden box while digging on his farm containing twenty three pieces of Spanish silver money. The oldest coin dates to 1810.
The jury has been dismissed until tomorrow. Isaac Eshelman v Sallie Lyons suit on note is being argued today with Florea and Broad Dus for the plaintiff and Little and McKee for the defense. John B Parish sues the P C C and St L Railroad for damages to be heard tomorrow. A new trial in the Gallivan v Watkins suit will be brought before the court this week.
Lew Church moved into the Taylor and Enos property yesterday. John Cates accepted a position at the Brookville furniture factory. Naomi Ursel's house nears completion. Miss Mellie Jones visited Cedar Grove friends recently. A Miller visits relatives near Benson's Station. Lizzie Creamer’s new house is rapidly erected. Clem Enos’ child is quite sick.
