Funeral services for D. C. Banes in Metamora Indiana
The funeral for DeWitt Banes born October 1847 in Metamora Indiana was held at nine yesterday at K W High home conducted by Dr. C H Little. The service recalled his life from Metamora to Illinois and Connersville with his wife Harriet Grout and children Harry and Rubie. The mourners included his brother Horace Banes and Mrs Morrow family as pallbearers and the burial followed at Metamora Cemetery.
