Tomorrow night Roots Hall hosts a Blue Ribbon temperance program with an instrumental duet and various solos and recitations. County commissioners redraw precincts for Connersville township outlining voting places and precinct inspectors across nine divisions and listing locations from East Connersville school to Doll's shop and Maplewood school. A Debating Club Picnic in Shipley’s Grove at 2 30 features a full program of music recitations and declamations, concluded with a baseball game between East Comeraville's and Messick's nine.
The official board of the First Methodist church and their wives were hosted by Rev. and Mrs. Virgil W. Tevis from eight to ten. Thirty two people attended the social evening with piano selections by Rev. Tevis and a refreshment of ice cream cake strawberries and coffee served. The Gan Club is having a shoot today.
In Connereville the common council discussed a signed petition urging immediate sewerage and street improvements, referring it to Public Improvements. The panel also approved drafting an ordinance for a public market at Grand avenue between Fourth and Fifth streets and set up a Commercial Club organizing meeting with a women’s call committee.

Reese named musical director for another year. John Sorrele as office ward building janitor, Frock as janitor of second ward building, and Obn Fattig as janitor of first ward building. Additional notes relate to classroom tutoring and ward-building adjustments.
The Cramps conduct steel shell tests at the Lewis farm above Wheatsheaf lane along the Delaware river to gauge armor plate quality. Eight inch diameter, ten inch long hardened steel shells are fired through four inches of plate with a Driggs Schwarz gun. Each test uses sand filled boxes and a sound deadening firing house to inspect penetration and condition of the projectile.

A detective seeks W G Long cashier of Watkins Bros New York who allegedly embezzled 915000 last October. He was reportedly run from Canada and heading toward Mexico. In an interview the detective said Long was seen in Connersville early Monday morning and uses multiple aliases.
The county commissioners bought a print derived from a negative of the courthouse likely made over twenty years ago. They presented the purchase to the treasurer's office.
