Male members of the Y P B C E at the Christain church hosted a nine course supper for their ladies at Link K Tingley’s Reid street home. Courses included pickle and toothpicks, celery, blue points with kraut, baked beans, hard boiled eggs and onions, corn bread and buttermilk, dates, lemonade, and toothpicks. Fines were imposed for rule violations, raising a small sum. two weeks later the ladies will host at Miss Cora Monger’s home.

Mrs Kate Morat of Fred Snider’s home was surprised Tuesday evening by the Frauen Verein of the German Presbyterian church for her sixty second birthday. She received many handsome gifts as games, conversation, and music filled the evening.
