Youthful Festivities Mark George Sipp Birthday

George Edward Sipp celebrated his twelfth birthday Thursday evening at his parents East Fourth Street home. About forty three friends attended and played games such as pinning babies on a bicycle seat and guessing beans in a bottle. Prizes were won by Francis Johnston Herbert McFarlan Zella Pitts Nellie Van Loon Earl Sanders and Florence Thomas with refreshments of ice cream cake salted peanuts and punch served. Falls On a Machine At Connersville Factory

This morning around seven Charles Widman a Connersville Furniture employee slipped on machinery and cut a large wrist gash. An artery was severed and Dr Hamilton applied several stitches to close the wound.

Finger Loss In Sausage Grinder Incident

Mrs. Arlie Wilson injured a finger while feeding a sausage grinder. The finger was nearly severed at the first joint and may require amputation. Dr. Porter treated the wound.
