In Arlington last week a hobo and a sheepherder drank freely and a theft followed. The hobo stole a small boat with $165, crossed the river to an island, spent the night there, and was recaptured when the sheepherder pursued him. The two bought return tickets to Arlington separately.

Street Work To Be Finished Next Summer
City Council held a special session to hear City Engineer Morris on street paving. All councilmen attended except Campbell. Work on the pavement is halted until spring, bonds turned to Heinecke Bros, and existing work accepted if a $3000 bond is provided. Paving to be completed by spring or no later than August 1.
