The residence of Jas Knight in southeastern Condon burned Wednesday afternoon. The building recently remodeled with many improvements. W A Darling lost tools while papering. Fire reported from a stove but Darling says no fire in stove after 10 30 p m. They kept furniture at Mrs Knights parents’ home. almost all goods burned. Loss insured only to a small extent.

Present were J D Farrell president J P O Brien vice president and general manager J D Stack assistant manager and Wm Bollows superintendent. This marks Farrells first trip since taking charge. Roy Stice and Chas Buster of California arrived Monday to review local dairy prospects and plan to stay with Granville Stice in a new firm to be called Buster Stice Bros. The dairy operation aims to begin in a few days with smoother management.

Boy Falls From Banister Causes Arm Break and Bruises
John Reisacher Jr sustained a severe injury Tuesday evening after slipping over a stair railing at home. He fell about twelve feet to the floor, breaking one arm and bruising his head. Dr Wood attended him. he is reported as getting along as well as can be expected.
