Rarity Fall Fashions Still Under Directoire Influence
Fashion notes from MONS. GENE DE PONTAC describe early fall silhouettes drawing from Directoire lines. Skirts stay straight with fitted hips, sleeves lengthen with new ribbon embroidery accents, two tone chiffon sleeves, and white lingerie gowns with lace and colored lining. Khaki linen looks pair with white linen for September, pongee fabrics remain versatile, and ribbon embroidery emerges as a new detail.
