Voters in Concord-A will cast ballots next Tuesday as 65 million registered nationwide. Precincts 1 2 and 3 vote in Hunt Memorial Gymnasium Hervey Wheeler School and Veterans Building respectively. Local candidates include George Fingold Otis Whitney David Williams all Republicans with strong Democratic interest in Rae Sparkman Eisenhower and Richard.

Pack 49 Enrolls Nearly 70 Boys In Past 3 Years

Concord notes rapid growth in Pack 49 with enrollments rising from 43 to near 100 over three years. Cubmaster Robert Douglas leads the group with Mrs George Hall and a devoted committee. The first meeting of the month saw a record enrollment. next pack meeting is Friday at 7 30 in the high school auditorium.

Concord Board of Trade Advances November Meeting

The Concord Board of Trade held its moved up November meeting at the Howor Johnson Restaurant with about 35 attendees. President Benjamin F. Clark chaired after supper as Edward K. True of the Concord Planning Board presented a town planning report. Edward W. Sheehan discussed the West Concord traffic situation, and a committee including George Davis, Frank W. McKellar, and John B. Mandriok Sr was named to study the issue alongside a separate committee. Fred T. Boyd introduced a Christmas lighting contractor from Accord and outlined holiday lighting costs. The board supported the project and planned the next meeting and elections.

A district wide workshop program starts in Concord public schools causing class suspensions today and tomorrow with sessions at the high cafe and Alcott school cafeteria. Officials include Superintendent Radcliffe Morrill and Concord School Committee member Donald B Sin clair among others. The event wraps up Friday at 3 45 with a short summary of activities.
