Doctor Busy Despite Injuries After Hunting Barrel Explosion
Dr Earl F Ryan a well known local physician sustained a badly injured forearm and hand when one barrel of a two barrel gun exploded while he hunted near Hillsboro New Hampshire. A fragment of the barrel and shot penetrated his arm and hand. He traveled alone to a friend's home and received treatment. The cause of the explosion is unknown.

Mystery Fire At Maynard Baker Shop On Great Road
A fire alarm at 2 20 a m Sunday reported a blaze in a baker shop at 120 Great Road Maynard. The center of the building burned badly while a slight breeze fanned the flames. The fire's origin appeared suspicious after Victor Skirton, who runs the business, found damaged trucks and removed parts in a nearby garage. Joseph White noticed noises before the fire drew attention.

Two Babies Hurt In Motor Crash Near Felton
Two infants suffered injuries when a car crashed into a truck on Prospect Street near Felton. Betty Nolan sustained a head gash and arm cuts. Mrs. Joseph Deveau had a cut on the left temple.
