Protest to Challenge New Rail Schedules Between Bedford and Boston

Beginning Monday the Lexington and Boston Street railway and the Boston and Maine railroad have altered the Bedford to Boston timetable. The 9.35 am last forenoon and 6.35 pm last evening trains are changed, with 6.21 pm and 10.21 pm the only evening departures from North Station to Bedford. The shifts favor the corporations but burden local travelers, and a mass meeting is anticipated to oppose what is seen as an injustice to townspeople needing travel.
