Maynard lodge members invite D D Charles Balcolm and suite from Hudson to visit Wednesday night for degree work with two candidates. Summer Hill lodge A O U W hosted a smoke talk in Odd Fellows hall with Grand Foreman Sullivan of Boston and Weeks of Newburyport as speakers. An entertainment by the Priest brothers and orchestra preceded supper and remarks by P J Sullivan J H Swayne and J C Mackin.

First Parish Women's Fair Draws 200 Guests in Pleasant Day
The First Parish church ladies hosted a fair for over 200 attendees from the N E Associate Alliance on Wednesday October 2. Guests toured the old church picnic lunch in the town hall then split for Concord Lexington Wayside Inn or local outings. The sale ran from 11 am to 9 pm with many tables selling out early amid strong profits and gratitude to helpers.
