Funeral services for the late Mrs. Abbie Frances Pul fer Lawrence were held from the home of her daughter Mrs. Clara Clark in North Acton. A charter member of the West Acton Womens Relief Corps she lived with her daughters since Mr. Lawrence’s death. Burial was in Sleepy Hollow cemetery Concord.
Mrs Della Moore was re elected president of the Maynard Ladies Auxiliary A O H at a meeting last night in Odd Fellows hall. Alice Joyce was named vice president with a standing committee including Mrs Mary Reed. A whist party is planned for next Monday afternoon with Mary Connors as hostess.
A community group announces a Halloween party with a program for October 16. Officers include Wisie Brayden treasurer and Marion Lester warden with various staff and committee members named.
