Robert Fought returns from Parkersburg, WVa, and M A Weiss visits Hooksett while Mrs Jenness hosts guests. Hawthorne chapter OFE 8 to host a whist party October 13 in Odd Fellows hall.
Maynard reports ongoing voter registration with a rally by the Socialist Republicans and 320 women along with 1069 men on the voting list. Registrars offer three remaining registration sessions and urge early signup. Local politics show Republican hopes, Democrat disorganization, and plans to appoint a woman as an election official.
The Ladies' Auxiliary met as planned despite the storm. Regular meetings will be at Eagles hall on the third Thursday of every month with notices moved to The Enterprise from postcards.
