Concord funeral services were held for Mrs Mary Cadman Mason 76 wife of Frank S Mason secretary of the Boston Boys Club She died November 1% at 4 Middle Street Concord Rev Charles Russell Peck conducted the service Burial was at Rockport Cemetery She lived in West Roxbury before moving to Roslindale She was founder of the Bunker Hill Boys Club Survived by two sisters Mrs George W Harding and Mrs James P Thayer a niece Miss Lily W Jensett.
The West Concord Musketaquid Sportsmen's Club held its bi monthly meeting after supper led by Fred Nolan and a committee. President Oswald Dreschler presided as plans were finalized for the fifth annual open turkey shoot with prizes and contests on Harrington Avenue grounds. Concord High School football prepares for the Thanksgiving clash at Lexington High, aiming for a sixth win as captains William Parker and Philip Lamoreaux anchor the teams.

Lieut. Everett E. Sargent Jr., son of Mr and Mrs Everett E. Sargent of West Concord, received the Distinguished Flying Cross for taking part in the August 1 bombardment by the U S Army Air Corps on the Ploesti oil refineries in Romania. He served nearly two years and was part of the bombing party that raided the oil wells.
West Concord corporal Ellis Woleslagie spends his furlough with his wife at 23 Riverside Avenue, West Concord, at the home of her parents Mr and Mrs Harry C Parker. Mrs Woleslagie expects to accompany him back to Tullahoma Tennessee where he is stationed later this week.
