At the Acton Woman's Club William Smith OMLS led a talk by a missionary returning from the Country Club area. The event featured PP. es in charge of P.P. P. Hardin and drew attendance from local residents.

West Concord Mr and Mrs Joseph M Steinmann of 252 Main Street observe their 25th wedding anniversary They were married November 13 1937 and have three sons Joseph M Jr Robert J Barry and one grandchild Joseph Dennis Mrs Steinmann is the former Rita Bent Mr Steinmann is acting post master at West Concord and a World War II veteran.
The decomposed body of 61 year old William J. Myett, a V A Hospital patient, was found by two Bil lerica men, Martin Beermaster and John Fritz, 20, about 1500 yards from Old Billerica road. Police notified Bedford and the body was sent to Dillon Funeral Home.
Carlisle P T A holds its monthly meeting Monday at 8 p m in Spalding School Auditorium. Ralph C Glidden Jr will be present with members to answer questions from parents.
A Concord Chamber of Commerce project produced a commercial Minute-Man missile ad with local models Fire Chief Thomas D Tombeno and Ralph A Macone. The shoot occurred after contact with New York photographers and involved a Kentucky agency and client American Air Filter. The Concord Library benefited as Dorothy E Nyren received $40 for the models’ services.
Sunday Holy Communion service at Trinity Episcopal Church notes that Grades 1-7 children will not meet and should join parents for church then be dismissed to view the film Child of Bethlehem. Monday event lists a Christmas work day for Trinity women from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with box lunch at noon led by Mrs John Gourgas.

Robert Rader was named to the planning board to fill the unexpired term of David Emerson. Mary Sheehan invested 1,000,000 of town funds in short term treasury bills with several maturities and total income projected at 7,851.06.
