Fragmentary item recalls parish and civic happenings from Boston in October 1951. Mentions charity dances, a K of C benefit, a Winchester Hall event, Emerson’s birthday, a high school concert, track meet rivalries, and local social notes including anniversaries and a veteran photographer’s loan.
About 80 members of the 1927 Concord class enjoyed a social hour at the Concord building Saturday night. Ferguson, president, and the committee organized the event with refreshments and entertainment for attendees from distant towns, including faculty members.
The Concord secretary reports planning a summer trip to Alaska for athletics, noting last year’s truckload of staff, with a minor operation scheduled in hospital on Tuesday.

Jacob Meder of 415 Main Street West Concord came home from the New England Center Hospital Boston Sunday after a serious operation.
West Concord pupil Marshall J Witherell son of Police Sergeant Witherell 14 Central Street received a scholarship at IIT. An honor student for four years he is a National Honor Society member in junior and senior years and has been active in school affairs including the band.
Concord Rotary Club luncheon featured Dr. S. P. LaServa from Bedford U S Veterans Hospital. He spoke on Bedford patient care problems and potential club assistance. A report on the club outing was read. Past President Leslie O Anderson chairs June programs.

Concord High students gear up for a busy week with a year end outing to Canobie Lake Park in Salem New Hampshire next Tuesday. The mixed chorus rehearses for a June 11 graduation program at Emerson Playground starting at 6 30.
