The Maynard Congregational Couples Club held its regular meeting last week with supper served by a committee led by Mrs. Winifred Bemis and Mrs. Willis Lester. After a brief business session, Mr. Winfred Bemis directed games and tricks. The next meeting date will be announced later. Buy U S Savings Bonds.
Marlborough elementary junior high and high school students display art at Shoppers World, part of a 700-piece show at the 40 store center. The Marlborough entries were organized by art supervisor Howard Searles and hang by grade around the central green for easy viewing through May 29.
Four houses will host a House and Garden Tour on June 9 with tea at Mrs. David Adams home. Miss Edna Cutter showed her garden and house and gave tips on perennials. Judges will come from the State Federation of Women's Clubs and tickets are on sale.
