Town Stores End Late Hours Adopt Weekly Half Day Off

Business firms in the town agree to a weekly half day off to allow recreation for employees. Beginning May 14 1894 stores to close Monday and Tuesday evenings at 8 0 o’clock and Wednesday at 1 o’clock. Haynes Brothers among signatories.

Ad matter delivery instructions for publication

Notice directs advertising material and subscriptions to be delivered to the bookstore of H. L. Whitcomb or the post office to avoid delays. It specifies where news and ads may be left for processing and delivery to the office.

New Depot Hack Charges Increase for Passengers
