Finn Temperance Societies Meet With Band Competition

Fire alarms trigger forest and farm blazes in Lincoln area

A major fire event sparked alarms across Elmhurst Farm and Walden woods. Chimney and under‑air fires required two alarms and drew railroad workers from Wadham to Fitchburg, with men from Lincoln and Concord aiding in containment. about 125 cords of wood burned.

Travellers Class Plans Concord Trip To Carlisle Pines

The Travellers Class of Massachusetts Woman's Club meets for a spring excursion to Carlisle Pines. A barge departs Concord Library at 10 am for a round trip of 50 cents. If rain occurs the plan will be postponed.
