Judith Foster, a school nurse, conducted 73 visits in the past month to schools and homes for 273 children. She administered 239 treatments, referred 14 to a doctor, 50 to a dentist, and 1 child for surgical care. Panaxuk Driver Guilty Of Drunken Driving at Concord Crossing
The record notes Panaxuk Piper drove east toward Acton station at 1 30 am and failed to stop at a crossing. Treigit narrowly avoided a collision as the stalled vehicle neared the lights. In Concord District Court Pan was found guilty of drunken driving and faces additional charges.

Mass reform instructor Michael Farrell dies in Concord
Michael James Farrell a longtime instructor at the Massachusetts Reformatory died at his Concord home after an illness. Born in Nova Scotia on November 1 1862 he moved to Boston then Concord in 1888 and for years led the tailor shop before his retirement. Funeral services drew many friends and delegations from Concord K of C officials.

Retirement fete honors Major Dolan at State Armory
Major John C. Dolan deputy superintendent of the Massachusetts Reformatory and former physical director is celebrated at a surprise dinner with many associates and friends at the State Armory. The event marks his retirement from active duty in the Massachusetts National Guard and his promotion to deputy superintendent. Guests include Adjutant General John G Agnew and Colonel Porter B. The Finnish American League plans its sixth annual road race to Fort Pond in Littleton on May 20. Entries pour in as top distance runners seek a place in the event. Maynard W Manyard has been appointed to the Middlesex County N R A Consumers Council to promote consumer harmony with employers and other groups. Three Jump As Stalled Truck Near Concord Line
Three youths from South Acton narrowly escaped death when a stalled truck on the B and M crossing near the Concord line was hit by the eastbound train due at 2:30. The train wrecked the truck and damaged the locomotive. troopers Spurr and Furze arrested the trio for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
