The Ladie's Auxiliary A C H Iy afternoon weekly whist at the Maynard Co op Club was well attended. Mary Sheridan was hostess. Participants included Catherine Baritean Schnab Serée Prainklin je Cleary Mrs Mary Cook and Wiliam Reid. Mrs Catherine Bari will host Monday.
A parish party hosted by Louise Comeau featured prize whist with Mrs. Mabel Jamieson praised as the top player. Attendees included Mary Don Eva Duckworth Mabel Pal Mrs Laubenstein Harold II A N Taylor and Margaret hy. The next whist event was announced.
Miss Betty Harrington of Center road Sudbury has won an award at Lasell College and been elected freshman class president. Relatives in town attend services for Charles Haynes, late Sudbury native and Charlestown prison retiree. Mrs William Tufts hosted a gathering for her daughter Joy Tufts and friends including Betty Warrington Helen Priest Virginia Pilms Virginia Bowry Nancy and Barbara Way.
