James Browne 76, longtime Concord custodian, dies

D Browne of West Concord died on his 76th birthday. Born in Waterford Ireland he came to the United States as a young man and worked for decades as custodian of the Concord Country Club golf links. Surviving are his wife Mira. daughter Percy Margaret Browne. two sons James D Browne Jr of Hartford and Joseph F Browne of Bedford. Services were held Monday at Our Lady Help of Christians Worth, with a requiem Mass. Interment in St Bernard's Cemetery.
