Obsequies for Antoine Bulette Held at Home

The funeral for Antoine Bulette was conducted at his Acton home on Thursday. Born in Canada in 1830, he moved to Acton as a youth and married Miss Chaffin about 59 years ago. He and his wife lived quietly at their ancestral home for most of their lives, and Mrs. Bulette passed away roughly seven weeks ago. Bulette, a hardworking farmer with a highly productive farm, had no biological children but adopted a son from the Chaffin family who cared for him and his wife in their infirmities. Rev. F. P. Wood led the services and praised Bulette’s kindness across his life. Much sympathy goes to Miss Jewett, who has lived with the family for over 50 years.
