Miss Patrice Higgins Graduates From Fitchburg Normal

West Acton reports Miss Patrice Higgins graduated from Fitchburg Normal School during the commencement. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Higgins and her brother John Iggins attended. Mrs. Ella Bolton Feltus attended as guest of her brother at Shanghai Race Club spring races in early May when the meet causes local shop closures and attracts tourists worldwide.

Lodges Hold Joint Memorial Service Across Four Cemeteries

Progressive Lodge of K of P and Progressive Temple Pythian Sisters held a joint memorial service. A Maynard Brass Band parade started at Masonic Hall and proceeded to cemeteries. Clifford E. Jones gave the oration at Glenwood Cemetery. Graves of 18 deceased brothers were decorated in Maynard Stow Acton and Concord. The Sisters decorated one grave in Glenwood for a Saugus Temple member.

Maynard Defeats Abbot Worsted 3-0 To Reach Cup Final

Maynard Soccer Team beat Abbot Worsted 3 to 0 at Bunting Field Lowell on Saturday afternoon to advance toward the knockout cup final. Smith and Dove from Andover and The Portugese of Lowell meet next Saturday to decide which team faces Maynard in the final. Bill Spratt scored all three Maynard goals. lineup includes J. Sudbury Graduation Exercises At Town Hall

Sudbury high and grammar schools held graduation exercises at town hall on Thursday evening June 21. Dr J Franklin Knotts DD gave the address. The program featured music, class history, prophecies, and diplomas for grammar and high school graduates.
