Twenty eight students at Acton Town House Wednesday evening, including 11 honor students with 80 percent or higher, received diplomas. Edwards Quimby Post 284 awarded medals to top scholar and top achiever Eileen Sheehan and Earl K Spinney, while two school committee members presented diplomas to their daughters Louisa Wood and Helen Knowlton. A chorus performed as Rev. Glenn W. Douglase and Harry Gardner spoke on education.

Harold F. Morgan Jr of Framingham and Gertrude Mi fred Corsar of Sudbury were married in the local Methodist church amid the community ceremony.
The 14th annual Night Before event at Concord Town Meeting in March features speaker Alexander Henderson of Lowell. Entertainers include Herbert Taylor with sleight of hand and ventriloquism, Jessie Crawford with trained dogs, plus ample food and drinks. Loretta Patricia Dee and Lawrence Joseph Frawley united in a Nuptial Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians church West Concord in the presence of family and friends. Bride is daughter of Maj. Michael J. Dee. groom is son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Frawley. Both graduates of Concord High School. Dees hosted a large ceremony with many relatives, bridesmaids, and local clergy.
The graduating class of 1935 held a Senior Reception at the George Washington auditorium Friday evening. Hundreds of relatives watched the grand march led by class officers. Frank McKinley and his orchestra provided music. refreshments followed. Class officers were Robert Duggan president Livi Nyholm vice president Helen Weckstrom secretary Edward O Donnell treasurer. Patronesses included Mrs. James Kind Mrs. James Duggan Mrs Lilian O Donnell Mrs Hubert Nyholm Mrs Henry Weckström and Miss Eibel Butterwer. Ruth Wilson served as class advisor.

Eighty six seniors received diplomas at Concord High School on Friday evening in the State Armory. The class is the largest since 1923 and includes five post graduates. An audience of about a thousand heard the Corona tion March and speeches by Warren B. Goddard and former Newton Mayor Edwin C Childs. Charles Gianque staged a standout solo amid the Pagliacci selection.
Charles Aho of Hiver street Maynard died Monday after a long illness at the Middlesex Sanatorium in Waltham. He was 47, born in Finland and had lived in Maynard 27 years. He leaves his mother Mrs. Hilda Aho and a sister Mrs. William Niskanen. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.
