Concord Committee Visits Squantum Naval Air Station

The Concord Minute-Man committee led by George A. Parsons visits Naval Air Station Squantum to honor volunteers for the Naval Reserve in the Boston area. Capt. O. P. West Fest Concordatory Officer and Mrs Gan F McNally of 12 Elm Place plan a quiet 25th wedding anniversary this week with dinner. The couple were married at St. Wierd Church Hudson by Rev John Mullen. They have two daughters Elizabeth a Regis College graduate and Ann a Concord High student, and a son William Jr a Boston College freshman.

Concord Grand Master Wragg visits 150th anniversary lodge

Concord's Ancient Free and Accepted Masons celebrated 150 years of Corinthian Lodge with a reception at Masonic Hall led by Grand Master Samuel Wragg of Massachusetts. He spoke on the lodge history from 1797 as read by Will A. Charles, with remarks by dignitaries and music by William Davis Tuttle.

At the State Armory in Concord 101 seniors from the 1947 class received diplomas and awards in a largely attended ceremony. Rev. Michael J. Ahearn, S.J., of Weston College, spoke on Youth in an Atomic Age. Principal Willard H. Pioneer presided. diplomas were presented by Mrs. Winslow J. Damon.
