Pictures of Keyes as Roosevelt to tour cinemas this week
The Mutual Films company will begin nationwide showings of pictures featuring John M Keyes posing as Theodore Roosevelt on the River of Doubt. A Wal tham photographer captured Keyes leaving his home and presenting a map of South America before entering and emerging from shrubbery to reveal the river. Local interest centers on the likeness to Roosevelt and the claim the river near a town landmark mirrors a historical site. Bernard Hilferty of Maynard is 80 Journing with Mr and Mrs Royal P Stoddard.
