Minute Man logo updated after wartime era
Concord reports the Minute Man symbol, long associated with defense and war savings stamps since 1941, has a new design. Orville S. Pollard, director of the U S Savings Bonds Division for Massachusetts, announced Treasury approval of the redesign replacing the original 1941 adaptation of Daniel Chester French’s Minute Man statue.
