Fatal tractor accident at Wayside Inn Farm claims George Maki
George Maki 35 died Friday from injuries after a tractor rolled and crushed him at the Lord's Wayside Inn in Sudbury where he worked. A Finland born Maynard resident for 15 years, he is survived by his wife. Services were held Monday at Riverbank Road home. burial in Glenwood cemetery followed. Flowers and friends attended.

Louis J. Rickles 38 a Marlboro native and Maynard shoe dealer died in Clinton hospital after an operation failed to save him. The death follows four family losses in a year and comes after a life of scholastic achievement and work at Rice and Hutchins factory before opening his own shoe shop. He also wrote fiction with stories published in Chicago and Boston magazines and was sought for more. He leaves a sister and a half brother.
