Bedford News Briefs Reflect Local Moves and Outings

J B Pie eSkering superintendent of 7 o has Walter Reynolds and George Hamilton join Co I M V M of T M Johnson of Spring St constructing an artistic brick wall on H a R Blinn estate. A large crowd attended the Republican outing at Lowell Saturday. Miss M L Higgins of the Llewsac lodge spends the summer at Northboro. J B Thompson of the Bedford Wet Wash spends his vacation at Manchester by the Sea. Mr and Mrs Fred S Lydiard return from a short vacation in Richmond Me. Mr and Mrs Stewart of Concord occupy the tenement on South St recently vacated by Mr and Mrs George Thompson. The largest crowd yet visited Lexington Park Saturday evening with dances and vacations filled to overflowing. J E Ashley head game keeper of the D L Pickman estate has a large brood of ducks and pheasants hatched. A pond for the ducks and an aviary for the pheasants await domestication.

Lawn Party Fetes Held on Union Church Grounds Amid Rain Postponement

The Ladies' Union annual lawn party on Union Church grounds drew a large attendance despite rain postponement from Thursday. festively lit grounds featured decorated tables and Maynard band music. Local notables and summer plans for Castine Me and West Falmouth appear, along with restaurant owner Frederick Sutter seeking neuritis treatment in Boston. About 75 dog owners have not paid licenses, risking court action.
