The Peakham literary society met at B. F. Howe's on January 17 with Miss Bessie Thompson in charge. The program centered on James Russell Lowell. Coolidge of the Hudson grange plan to work the third and fourth degrees for a 25-member Harvard grange delegation next Tuesday evening.
