Miss Belle Warren and events in Fitchburg and beyond

Miss Belle Warren visited friends in Fitchburg last Sunday and Monday. The remains of the late Erskine Malcolm are buried in the Presbyterian cemetery at Chevenne Nova Scotia. Watch for posters announcing the Riverside hall concert on February 12 by the English Bell Ringers. A party of Royal Arcanamites attended a Marlboro celebration by John Boyle O'Reilly council. St Bridget’s C T B Society Clarifies Jan Party

J A Crowley president denies that the St. Bridget’s C T B society attended a Friday January 8 complimentary party in a body. He says arrangements were made weeks before and members who went did so as representatives, not as a group in a festive event during a mourning period.

Peakham Society Met at Howe House on Lowell Program

The Peakham literary society met at B. F. Howe's on January 17 with Miss Bessie Thompson in charge. The program centered on James Russell Lowell. Charles Seymour provided notable drumming, enjoyed by all. W. M. and W. R. Coolidge of the Hudson grange plan to work the third and fourth degrees for a 25-member Harvard grange delegation next Tuesday evening.
