March of Dimes Drive Opens in Concord
The 1951 March of Dimes campaign began January 15 and runs through January 31. The Concord committee urges residents to give what they can, aiming to support patient care and medical services including transportation, hospital care, therapy, nurses, braces, shoes, and orthopedic work. In 1950 Concord spent $1,593.85 on 12 cases, with a total expenditure of $2,754.35 including hospital care for one large case.

West Concord Cub Pack 33 met at the Harvey Wheeler School Auditorium. Three boys joined, bringing the den count to ten with a new den and mother Mrs Theodore Rideout.
