Mass of Requiem at St Bernard’s for Mrs. Kreuber
A high mass of requiem was offered at St Bernard’s Church on Monday at 9 a.m. for Mrs. Theresia Kreuber who died Friday at her Old Bedford Road home. Rev. Walter A. Quinlan led the service. Burial followed at St Bernard’s Cemetery. Kreuber, born Germany Feb 17 1870, resided in Concord for 100 years and was active in parish life. Survived by son Henry C, daughter Matilda T, and a grandson. widower John died last March.

Flavin Commissioned as First Lieutenant in Air Corps
Concord resident George F. Flavin aged 50 at 50 Lexington Road has been commissioned a first lieutenant in the U S Army Air Corps. He reports January 21 in Miami for a six week induction course and after training will be sent to Maxwell Field Alabama. A Harvard College 1931 graduate, he recently completed Army Reserve Signal Corps instruction in Boston and was about to begin basic training when the commission was awarded. He is the son of Philip J. Flavin and a Concord Knights of Columbus member.

The Concord Firemen's Relief Association held its annual meeting at Central Station. President Reed Beharrell was thanked for his service.
