Brutal murder of Joseph Morello at Concord Powder Mills
The body of 30 year old Joseph Morello of Concord Junction was found Tuesday morning in the powder woods after a violent assault Saturday night. Police say six knife wounds and multiple bullet wounds suggest a staged killing by an ambusher, with investigators tracing movements from the powder plant to a remote embankment and a clump of trees. Morello, a wheel hand at American Powder Co., had connection to an earlier henhouse arrest and a Greece escape theory circulates amid a broad probe.
