Post meeting outlines 800th anniversary plans and July 4 field day

Sudbury Couple Celebrate 60th Wedding Anniversary
Mr and Mrs Bills marked six decades of marriage with a reception at Sudbury Town Hall. Invitations were sent for a program beginning after a wedding match by O Leary Minstrels. Guests include Henry Ford and members of the Sudbury Post American Legion and Auxiliary and the Board of Selectmen. Mr Bills, 85, is the town’s last Civil War veteran. The couple has lived in the same Sudbury house 57 years, with nine children born and nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Thomas O Neill longtime Sudbury public servant and former General Court representative died at his North Sudbury home at noon. Born December 5 1861 in Concord he moved to Sudbury as a child and served as road commissioner coroner and four term selectman. He leaves a wife and three brothers and will lie in state at home before a requiem mass at St Bridget s Maynard.
