Edison plan questioned at Sudbury Lincoln hearing

Boston Edison faced scrutiny at a public hearing in Sudbury with Selectman W. Borden and Dr. Burt Wolbach among attendees. Officials from Sudbury Lincoln and Wayland opposed the overhead line while Edison advocates argued the underground costs. The commission took the case under advisement as questions about route, costs, and impact on residents and property arose. A closing note compared a potato’s calories to a berry pie.
