20th Anniversary Dedication Observed at Maynard Church
The Methodist Episcopal church celebrated its 20th anniversary with Saturday evening and Sunday services despite bad weather. A large turnout attended a parish supper and program featuring remarks by Rev. A Morrill Osgood, a musical interlude by Miss Grace Parkin and others, and a Boy Scout demonstration. The historical review traced the church’s origins from 1867 and highlighted building milestones, parsonage updates, and steady membership growth from 92 in 1896 to 180 in the present period.
