Concord-Eaton & Hall announce the judge allows the Marlborough name of Edward C. Horne as defendant replacing Town of Concord. Eaton & Hall will defend Horne the payground maintenance worker. The prolonged suit spans two and a half years with uncertain outcomes and potential town moral obligation to indemnify if Horne loses.
Acton Water District holds an annual meeting at 8 p m in the town hall to act on a posted warrant with 14 articles. Acton offered opportunities for voter registration on Tuesday and during the week, adding 110 names to the list. The revised voting list is being compiled by the board of registrars with removals and additions, keeping eligible voters for the March town election and town meeting at about 3,700.
